Portraits of Behrouz Boochani, Meyne Wyatt announced as 2020 Archibald Prize finalists
The Archibald portrait competition offers $100,000 in prize money for the winning artist, with entries to be painted in the past year from at least one live sitting. This year, artists have had three extra months to work on their entries after the Art Gallery of NSW opted to delay the exhibition as the COVID-19 crisis worsened in March. Here are the 55 finalists. The winner will be announced on September 25.
