Trains suspended on Frankston line

Trains have resumed on the Frankston line after a person was killed by a train near Mentone on Wednesday morning.
Services were suspended between Mordialloc and Moorabbin while emergency services responded to a call out just after 10am. Buses replaced trains in the affected section of the line.
Metro Trains confirmed just before 1.30pm that trains were now running as normal and on schedule.
Earlier on Wednesday, trains were stopped at Williams Landing on the Werribee line after a police request, causing delays of up to 30 minutes.
